When does staying neutral create fairness—and when does it quietly reinforce inequality?

Neutrality is often framed as the most compassionate form of leadership in spiritual communities. But when harm or inequality is present, neutrality may unintentionally preserve the status quo and leave marginalized voices unsupported.

This class explores the myth of neutrality through a DEI framework, examining how leaders can distinguish between fair dialogue and ethical responsibility. Participants will analyze real ministry scenarios and explore how spiritual leadership can balance unity, courage, and accountability.
