There are workshops about church growth. There are workshops about innovation.
Very few teach people how to end something sacred with honesty, dignity, love, and integrity. And yet… many churches are quietly carrying exhaustion, debt, conflict, grief, denial, or institutional shame while trying to call it “faith.”
This is conscious completion. Because how a church closes becomes part of its final ministry.

Closing a Church Well is a practical, emotionally intelligent, spiritually grounded workshop for ministers, boards, and congregations navigating the difficult realities of church decline, merger, transition, or closure. This is not a workshop about “giving up,” rather time together to discover what faithful and conscious closure can really look like.
