Lost Gospel of Sufficiency: Myrtle Fillmore, Prosperity, and the Theology Unity Forgot
Thursdays, July 9–30, 6:00-8:00pm CT
You were never failing at prosperity. You were taught a version that couldn’t hold your life.
If you’ve prayed correctly, affirmed faithfully, visualized sincerely, and still felt burdened, ashamed, exhausted, or “behind”… this course is for you.
Because maybe the problem was never you.
Maybe you were taught a version of prosperity that could not hold the complexity of a real human life.
This 4-session experiential course reclaims Myrtle Fillmore’s lost theology of sufficiency, care, and circulation.
This is not another prosperity class. It is a theological and emotional reset.
Most Unity students were taught as if there were one prosperity theology. There were two.
For over a century, Unity prosperity teaching has largely centered one framework: law, demonstration, mental causation, and manifestation.
But there was another voice at the beginning.
Myrtle Fillmore offered a different understanding of supply—one rooted in care, circulation, order, belonging, healing, and enoughness.
Her teachings were often softened, sentimentalized, or sidelined.
This course restores Myrtle Fillmore as a serious spiritual thinker and asks a provocative question:
What was lost when her theology was overshadowed?
And what becomes possible when we reclaim it now?
In This 4-Part Experiential Course, You Will:
- Distinguish clearly between Charles and Myrtle Fillmore’s different theological frameworks
- Understand why many prosperity teachings create shame instead of freedom
- Evaluate prayer methods by their human impact—not just their promises
- Explore how institutions decide which teachings become “truth”
- Reconstruct a prosperity ethic rooted in sufficiency, circulation, and care
- Develop spiritual practices that support real life, nervous system safety, and belonging
