Course Description
This advanced metaphysics course is based on the universal, spiritual principles that support the expression of healing, health and wholeness in students’ minds, bodies and affairs. Unity began with a “spiritual healing” that was mediated through thoughts and feelings, AND application of principles. Participants will be working with Myrtle and Charles Fillmore’s interpretation of healing and wholeness, and how they apply to today’s world. The focus will mainly be on Myrtle Fillmore since she is the foundation for Unity as a healing movement. Such principles will be presented to support students in developing a practical understanding as heart-centered metaphysicians.
This course is designed to meet the educational needs for Unity S.E.E. students, however, the class and experiences are designed for everyone and anyone interested in the subject matter.
Course Learning Objectives
By the end of the course learners will be able to:
- Analyze, interpret, and explain the essential elements of Myrtle and Charles Fillmore’s theology while developing a personal understanding of healing, wholeness, curing and health
- Examine and use current language to express concepts of healing and wholeness
- Explain the significance of prayer and meditation in relationship to healing and wholeness
- Explain the elements in developing the consciousness of “The Fullness of Time” in the healing process
